As much as I despise the word “millennial,” there’s no denying the fact that being one has greatly influenced my career choice. When I first learned how to use Adobe programs in middle school, I began designing for my own social media pages. I would spend my weekends making GIFs, editing photos, and doing light coding for MySpace, Xanga, and even AIM.
As I got older, I realized the very thing I did in my free time was an actual job. I graduated with a BFA from Kean University, and have been creating social content for brands ever since.
